Ya know…
I don’t know if I really ever thought this day would come. I have been walking the WordPress path for SO LONG, trying to learn what this thing is all about. More than a couple of times, I just wrote it off. Telling myself, “it’s not worth it” or “there’s other things you need to learn first”…
Now, I’m not totally off in my thinking here. I took up this Skillcrush blueprint and you know what the most important take home I’ve gotten from this is? Confidence. The confidence to think of myself as an actual developer. I’ve taken a dozen of these online courses and I’m not sure how it happened, but Skillcrush broke the mold.
So, in a way, I suppose I did need the “other stuff” cause here I am today, going strong towards my goals. And one the the top goals on that list is learning WordPress. There is just too much need for it in the freelance market not to know it and if freelance is something I want to make work for me, it’s completely necessary, in my opinion. So here goes…


Comments on WordPress are ridiculous. I remember having to code this process in Cloud9 and it was kinda fun, but kinda enduring!
